I bought this as a Christmas present for my girlfriend a year ago and we loved using it! Sadly one day my girlfriend was getting up and forgot she had it in here lap and dropped it on the concrete garage floor and it shattered into a million pieces. Really sucked because we had a lot of herbs in the jar.

Great design, needs functional help
I love so many things about this grinder
1) bottom is a mason jar that you can put a lid on
2) easy to grip and turn grinder top
3) blades function well and clear the center of the grinder
4) basket works much better than the normal screens on the bottom of other grinders
There is one glaring problem with the device IMHO, the basket and lower part of the grinder spin on the glass jar (the washers slide and don't grip) or it is too tight and won't turn at all. seems to need more grip from the lower washer.
